The Bluff Movie Story
The Bluff is set in the 19th-century Caribbean Sea. The story is about a female Sea robber named Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden. Long ago, she was a feared Robber and sea smuggler, and people were scared of her. Her old captain Connor, played by Karl Urban, returns seeking revenge. When he comes back, danger fills Ercell’s life again. To save her family, she must fight once more using her old pirate skills. The movie is full of action, sword fights, danger, and survival, as Bloody Mary battles to protect the people she loves.
The Bluff is a story about a fisherwoman who goes on a fierce fight for survival. The story is set in the year 1846. Captain T. H. Bodden and his crew are captured on their ship, Swiftsure, by a cruel pirate named Captain Connor. Connor is searching for gold that he believes was stolen from him. When Bodden refuses to tell him anything, Connor travels to Cayman Brac, the island where Bodden lives with his wife Ercell, his sister Elizabeth, and his disabled son Issac.
Connor and his men attack the island. Ercell is also attacked, but to everyone’s shock, she fights back bravely and kills Connor’s gang members.
