In Episode 16, called “Senses”, Dr. Oliver Wolf (played by Zachary Quinto) is at Hudson Oaks, trying hard to save Sofia. At first, Wolf thinks he has faked his way inside Hudson Oaks to help her. But deep down, he isn’t sure. Sofia, who is really a part of Wolf’s mind, tells him she believes she needs to be there.
Dr. Amelia Fredricks returns as the director of Hudson Oaks. The old hostility between Wolf and Amelia is still there. But now, his words to Josh about the neuro department being in good hands sound more desperate than confident.
At the same time, he gets angry when Ericka takes Johnny to visit Wolf. Part of Charlie still holds bitterness toward Wolf and does not want to let it go. Brilliant Minds Season 2 Episode 16 is a strong episode. It quickly brings closure to many of the season’s biggest storylines. At the same time, it gives viewers a closer look inside Hudson Oaks.
The episode also allows Wolf to face his feelings about his father. He struggles with the pain of his father coming back into his life and then leaving again so suddenly.
