Pokémon Wild Card Plot
Teaser sees a Pokémon card game player wearing a yellow hoodie in the shape of Mimikyu, a Ghost and Fairy-type Pokémon from the Sun and Moon games that hides its true form under a yellow cloth resembling Pikachu.
Katsuhiko Kitada directs Pokémon: Wild Card, with Akemi Hayashi designing the characters and CloverWorks producing the film. Pokémon: Wild Card will be the first Pokémon movie since Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle in 2020, as the Pokémon series celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2026.
Also expected to arrive next year is the next generation of Pokémon games, Winds and Waves.
