In Greenwich, Connecticut, a family gets together for Christmas at Grandma Gertrude’s big mansion. Jason Lightstone arrives with his wife Linda and their young daughter Trudy. Santa soon learns that all the bad guys are on his “naughty list.” When Scrooge finds out that Trudy is talking to Santa, Jason (her dad) says Santa isn’t real, which makes Trudy run away crying.
