Balls Up Story Overview
In the story of Balls Up, Brad and Elijah are saved from danger in Brazil. An unexpected person helps them escape from the angry people and the government.
Why were people in Brazil angry with them? It all started with an idea. Brad and Elijah wanted their company, Regal Blue Condom Company, to sponsor a big event. They wanted their main product, a condom, to be part of the 2025 Football World Cup in Brazil. Brad even called it “The Testicle Sentinel.”
At first, no one had high hopes. But Brad and Elijah impressed Artur Santos and Brazil’s Travel Ministry. They got a big contract for their company. But things went wrong during the celebration. Santos drank too much and embarrassed himself. Because of this, the President of Brazil fired him. The contract with Regal Blue was also cancelled.
This caused more problems. Brad and Elijah lost their jobs. Their boss, Burgess, blamed them for Santos getting drunk. It did not stop there. To save money, Burgess also fired other workers. Raoul, Jeremy, and many more employees lost their jobs too.
After things calm down, Brad and Elijah think they must survive in Brazil again. They believe their problems are not over yet. But in the end, something surprising happens. Isadora Cortez comes with the Argentinian army. She welcomes Brad and Elijah. She says that because of their actions, Argentina won the World Cup final.
Earlier, when Brad and Elijah were caught, Cortez used a fake name, Antonia Costa. She said she was a lawyer and wanted to help them. But Elijah got worried. He thought people would hate her for helping them. So he told her to leave.
Later, Cortez went to Curto’s house to find them. But Brad and Elijah had already run away. So she could not meet them. To be honest, her plan was not very smart. She could not tell them the truth about being from Argentina. But she also made her story too serious. Because of this, Elijah got scared and said no to her help.
Still, this shows something good about Elijah. He cared about a girl he did not even know. If he was selfish, he would have accepted her help right away.
