Episode 3 begins in 2005. A teenage Anita (also called Anant) lives in a boys’ shelter home. Her caretaker, Edward Fernando, abuses her. One night, Sajid, who belongs to the Kattar Gang, comes to help her.
Sajid pushes Anita to take revenge. Anita cuts Edward’s wrist, and as he dies, she stuffs his mouth with the same chocolates he used to give her before hurting her. They steal his wallet and run away. Anita thanks Sajid for saving her and asks him to promise that he will never leave her.
A few days later, Sajid is arrested for Edward’s murder. Anita calls him from the juvenile home and tells him that her real father’s family is taking her away. She asks Sajid to come meet her once he is released.

What Happens in Daldal Episode 3?
Back in the present, Sajid panics after Prabhat’s murder. He throws away both his and Anita’s phones, which makes Anita nervous. At the same time, the police inform Rita that Adi has been caught for drunk driving. A flashback shows how Rita and Adi first met two years ago, when a drunk Adi hit Rita’s police vehicle.
Rita, who was also high at the time, is impressed when she learns Adi is a doctor, and they slowly begin dating. The next morning, Indu gets a call about Prabhat’s murder. Rita, who is packing her things at Adi’s place, hears the news and leaves without responding to his apology.
Anita gives Sajid breakfast and asks him to freshen up. Sajid says he wants to tell the police the truth and admits that Prabhat saved him by putting him in rehab. Anita says Prabhat was controlling him. The argument turns violent when Sajid chokes Anita, and the moment strangely turns intimate.
They find Sajid’s phone stuffed inside Prabhat’s mouth. Rita also finds Anant’s phone number in Prabhat’s diary. Commissioner Sanjay calls Rita and mentions that Vikram is also following the case, which makes her uneasy.

Meaning of Daldal Episode 3 ‘Janm’
Anita later takes Sajid to meet her paralyzed uncle and reveals the truth. She says she kept him alive all these years so they could punish him together. Sajid remembers the time when Anita’s uncle badly beat him with a belt.
A flashback shows Sajid visiting Anita after getting released from jail. Her uncle brutally beats Sajid in the rain while Anita cries helplessly. In the present, Anita pushes Sajid to kill her uncle. Before anything happens, she gets called into work. She tells Sajid to stay home and reassures him.
The episode ends when the police match the fingerprints from the rehab center — and they belong to Sajid, putting him directly in danger.
