Iron Lung Movie Story
Iron Lung is an upcoming American science-fiction horror movie. The film is written, directed, edited, produced, and starred in by Mark Fischbach, also known as Markiplier. This is his first full movie as a director. The film is made and released by Markiplier Studios.
The movie is based on the 2022 horror video game Iron Lung, created by David Szymanski. Along with Markiplier, the film also stars Caroline Rose Kaplan. Supporting roles are played by Seán McLoughlin, Troy Baker, Elsie Lovelock, Isaac McKee, and David Szymanski, who will appear in a small cameo.
Work on the Iron Lung movie began in April 2023, when Markiplier announced that he wanted to turn the game into a horror film. He shared that the movie would be self-funded, use his own script, and that he would also act in it.
David Szymanski confirmed that he has been involved with the film from the start. He helped with the story and screenplay and was also present during filming. The film is the first movie directed by Mark Fischbach, also known as Markiplier.
Szymanski said he is very impressed with how the movie has turned out so far. He believes people are not ready for how intense it will be. According to him, Iron Lung is a proper horror film, not just a simple adaptation of a video game.
After many years, a group called the Consolidation of Iron finds an ocean of blood on a moon named AT-5. They hope to find important resources there. To explore the ocean, they build a small submarine and send a prisoner on the dangerous mission.
The submarine has no front window because of the deep water pressure. If the mission succeeds, the prisoner will earn freedom. If not, another person will take the next mission. This is the 13th expedition.
Markiplier also said the movie used more fake blood than any other film. According to him, Iron Lung now holds the world record for the most blood used in a movie.
