Prodigal Son Season 3 Story
A few months after Endicott’s death, Malcolm ( Tom Payne) still feels bad about hiding what he did with the body. It keeps bothering him. While Gil is getting better, JT is in charge of the team.
Malcolm ( Tom Payne ) then learns that his father, Martin, is being moved back to Claremont because he helped the police during the pandemic. At the same time, the team works on a new case where a woman is killed in a strange way, and her boyfriend is trapped and left to die. Malcolm figures out that the couple had done something terrible in the past, and now someone is trying to punish them.
The police pretend to arrest the wrong person to catch the real killer. The plan works, and Malcolm helps stop him. Later, JT is attacked by mistake, but Malcolm and Dani save him in time.
Malcolm finds out that the priest’s last patient could not have done the murder. So he talks to his father Martin, who then asks another patient, Friar Pete, for help. They soon learn the real killer is an art worker at the church. He went crazy because he was poisoned by the paint he was fixing.
With help from Friar Pete, Malcolm stops the man by reading words from an exorcism. At the same time, JT is worried that other police officers will treat him badly because of what happened before. Sadly, this comes true when no one answers his call for help.
