Super Troopers 3 tries to bring back the fun movement of the old movies, but it doesn’t succes as well this time. The jokes feel old and forced, especially the ones about race and Canada. The troopers look older and tired, like they are just going through the motions.
Farva, played by Kevin Heffernan, gets most of the spotlight. He rescues Thorny’s sister after her car explodes, and this leads to a quick romance and even an engagement. The movie mixes this wedding story with a drug case, but neither feels very strong.
