Untamed Netflix Series Story
The series Untamed begins in the wilderness of Yosemite National Park. Two young men are climbing El Capitan. when a woman suddenly falls over the side of the cliff. Her fall almost pulls the climbers down with her, making the situation very dangerous. Later, park rangers investigate what happened.
Since no other ranger wants to work with Turner, the new ranger Vasquez has to join him. Turner likes to work alone, but Vasquez still partners with him. Even though Turner is rude and unfriendly, he finds small clues that others miss. Soon, a woman called Jane Doe #1711 is taken to the morgue. Turner believes she was already dead before she fell from El Capitan. He also thinks her killer had been chasing her for a long time.
The main character is Kyle Turner, played by Eric Bana. At first, he looks like a normal police officer with problems. He is divorced, drinks too much, and likes to be alone. He does not work well with others. But as the show goes on, we see he is much more than that.
The show does not excuse his bad behavior, but it shows him as a real person with feelings and pain. His past connects with other stories and people. Paul Souter (Sam Neill) is the chief park ranger and one of Turner’s true friends. Turner’s ex‑wife Jill (Rosemarie DeWitt) also appears. Even after all the problems, Jill never leaves him.
