Working together, DedSec hacks into a big internet company and uses the information to expose corrupt police, politicians, and tech companies. During this time, Marcus also goes after dangerous gangs. One gang kills his friend Horatio, and Marcus fights back. He also stops Dušan’s attempts to ruin DedSec by using another hacker group against them.

DedSec discovers a secret program called Bellwether, which was designed by T-Bone Kenney. They learn that Dušan wants to use Bellwether and a new satellite system to control money and politics all over the world. This would let him control almost all electronic data on Earth. To stop him, DedSec plans a huge mission. Marcus sneaks into Blume’s main office in San Francisco, installs a backdoor on one of their satellites, hacks their servers, and sends proof of Dušan’s crimes to the police. Dušan is arrested for fraud, and Blume is investigated, but DedSec decides to keep fighting the company.

On June 8, 2016, Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs 2 would release on November 15, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. The game had six different editions. In September, Ubisoft said the game would have special upgrades on the PlayStation 4 Pro.
