Wicked For Good Story Overview
The story continues after Elphaba goes against the Wizard of Oz. Now, she is called the Wicked Witch of the West. She hides in a forest and keeps fighting for Animal rights.
Glinda is now working for the Wizard. She is also engaged to Fiyero, who has become a captain. While Oz celebrates the Yellow Brick Road, Fiyero secretly tries to find Elphaba. But Glinda believes Elphaba does not want to be found.
Elphaba meets some Animals who are leaving Oz. She tells them to stand up and fight. But the Cowardly Lion blames her for the Wizard’s flying spies.
Later, Elphaba visits her sister Nessarose. She is now in charge of Munchkinland. She controls everyone and does not let people leave. Elphaba gives her magical shoes so she can fly.
Boq, who works for Nessarose, decides to leave. He also learns about Glinda and Fiyero’s wedding. Nessarose tries to stop him using magic. But the spell goes wrong and harms him.
Elphaba tries to save Boq, but he turns into the Tin Man.

Wicked For Good Release Date
Wicked: For Good is now coming to streaming after a successful run in theatres. The film earned around $527.8 million at the box office. It did very well, but still earned less than the first movie.
After four months in cinemas, its theatre run is ending. Now, the film will release on JioHotstar in India on March 21, 2026. The movie will be available in English and Hindi, so more people can watch and enjoy it at home.

Even though the film earned less than the first part, Wicked: For Good was still one of Universal’s biggest hits in 2025.
