you are Killing Me Series Plot
The hardest part about you are Killing Me is that it’s only six episodes long. By the time the season ends, you’ll wish there were more. In Episode 1, we meet Allison “Allie” Chandler, a famous mystery writer who has spent years creating her beloved Selena St. Cloud series. The story begins with Allie accepting another Critics’ Choice Award at the Mystery Convention.
But behind the applause, trouble is brewing. Allie’s writing is starting to feel old, and the people closest to her — her publishers, agent, and confidants — believe it’s time for her to move on from Selena. For Allie, this means facing the painful idea that her greatest creation may no longer be enough. Things get worse for Allie Chandler when she meets Andi Walker, who is only getting Allie’s latest book signed for her grandmother.
Soon after the awards ceremony, Allie’s friend Nash is murdered. This tragedy keeps pulling Allie and Andi back into each other’s lives. At first, they clash like oil and water, full of Gen X versus Gen Z energy. They tease and argue constantly, but underneath the sparring is the slow realization that they might actually need each other.
