The Way Home Season 4 Story
The Way Home tells the story of three strong women — Kat Landry (Chyler Leigh), her teenage daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme‑Snow), and Kat’s estranged mother Del (Andie MacDowell). More than 20 years ago, painful events split their family apart. Kat and Del stopped speaking, and Alice grew up never meeting her grandmother or knowing why the family was broken.
When the three generations finally come together under one roof, a surprising discovery sets them on a path toward healing — and toward finding their way back to each other. Kat thought Jacob had been captured by British soldiers, but she discovered he was actually imprisoned by Cyrus Goodwin (Tim Post), the owner of the mansion later called Lingermore. With help from Susanna and Thomas, Jacob was rescued, though he was gravely ill. As Susanna cared for him, Kat kept moving back and forth in time.
Meanwhile, Del Landry caught a horse roaming her land, only to learn it belonged to her new neighbor, Sam (Rob Stewart). At first, she resisted her attraction to him, holding onto memories of her late husband Colton (Jefferson Brown). She grew close to Noah (Alexander Eling), sharing fun moments like lip‑syncing a Backstreet Boys song before kissing him — only for him to run away.
