The show became very successful and was renewed for Season 2 in February 2024, which tells the story of The Sea of Monsters. It premiered on December 10, 2025 on both Disney+ and Hulu.
Then in March 2025, even before Season 2 arrived, the show was renewed for Season 3, which will be based on the book The Titan’s Curse.

Season 2
For almost one year, Percy studied at Meriwether College Prep with Tyson, a homeless boy who Sally knew was really a cyclops. She took care of him like family. Percy has a scary dream that shows Grover being captured. The next day, before school ends, Annabeth arrives and warns Percy and Tyson that something bad is about to happen at Camp Half-Blood.
Suddenly, they are attacked by Laestrygonians (giant monsters). After escaping, they reach the camp and find out that Luke has poisoned Thalia’s tree. The tree protects the camp, so now the magical barrier is getting weak. Clarisse and the new activities director Tantalus do not like Tyson and threaten him. Then Poseidon claims Tyson as his son, which shocks Percy and confuses him even more.
Percy and Annabeth ask Mr. D and Tantalus for a mission to save the tree, but they refuse to help. Because Percy and Grover are very close friends, they share a special mind connection. Grover tells Percy that he is being held on an island by the cyclops Polyphemus. The island has the Golden Fleece, a magical object that can heal anything, even Thalia’s tree.
Grover shares his location, and Percy uses the coordinates from Grover and the Gray Sisters to find the island. Percy decides he will get the Golden Fleece himself to protect the camp.
