Alpha Movie Story Overview
The story by Uday Chopra starts with promise but weakens later. The screenplay by Soumil Shukla and Shridhar Raghavan has many action and thrilling moments. Yet, it feels familiar and lacks freshness. Logic often takes a backseat. The dialogues by Ishita Moitra are fine and add impact to some scenes.
Shiv Rawail’s direction is not strong overall. Still, he deserves credit for mounting the film on a grand scale. The first 20 minutes are excellent and remind viewers of classic Salim‑Javed and Manmohan Desai films. The movie has many twists, and a few are surprising. Technically, the film is top‑class.
But once the characters are introduced and the focus shifts to the present, the film collapses. Some developments are confusing. For example, Sita says she came to talk to Vikrant and Durga, but just minutes earlier she was attacking them. This leads to unintentional laughter. The second half takes even more cinematic liberties.
Another problem is Sita’s character. At the start, she kills people considered national assets. After that, it is hard to accept her as a hero. The makers add a patriotism angle, but it does not work. The twist in the Fateh Singh Lakhawat track is unpredictable, but it may cause backlash.
