Baby Do Die Do Story Review
The story by Parveez Shaikh and Jasmeet K Reen is simple. The screenplay by Nachiket Samant and Gaurav Sharma makes it effective, though some parts could be more convincing. The dialogues are sharp and conversational.
Nachiket Samant’s direction is stylish and creative. His use of split screens stands out. The childhood sequence and Baby’s entry have a SIN CITY‑style look. The love story between Baby and Siddhu carries a Chaplin‑like touch. More than the plot, the quirky characters bring fun and madness. Details that seem random at first later gain meaning. The second half also has surprising twists.
For example, More (Kailash Waghmare), a broker, goes too far to inspect a flat, even entering it illegally. It is hard to believe a broker would risk so much for an ordinary property. It is also strange that Siddhu never asks about Baby’s profession before marrying her.
The tracks of More and Faizu (Rupesh Bane) are interesting alone but feel forced into the story. One expects Faizu to learn who killed his father, but that never happens, leaving his track incomplete. Finally, the film has limited awareness, which may hurt its box‑office chances.
