Cookie Queens Movie Plot
Cookie Queens is a fun and touching documentary. The story of four Girl Scouts who set big goals to sell lots of cookie boxes. Olive is the most experienced seller. She’s clever and tells customers to buy two more boxes so the price becomes an even $30. She has spunk and confidence, but the other girls are just as fun to watch.
Ara is the most inspiring. She has diabetes and is shy, but she is kind and respectful to people. That kindness helps her sell cookies. In one cute scene, Ara waits for a woman who said she “might come back” just so she can reach her sales goal. She never gives up, and audiences love cheering for her.
Nikki’s family has a long history of selling cookies. Her mom wanted Nikki to have the Girl Scout life she never had. Nikki and her family sing outside supermarkets to sell more boxes, and their energy is inspiring.
Shannon Elizabeth’s family risks losing money if they don’t sell their extra boxes. Shannon goes around town, even to firehouses, to move the cookies. She doesn’t fully know about her family’s struggles, but she works hard and wins support from buyers.
